Feminist Law Society Virtual Bookshelf

Feminist Law Society Virtual Bookshelf © has been created for those with different learning styles and needs who often experience barriers to learning and research whilst using online platforms and formats.

Video and audio formats have been given priority, as well as text documents that can be read with assistive technology.

This virtual bookshelf is designed to be a 'one-click' experience by taking the user directly to the online resource, much like selecting a book on a bookshelf and opening it straight away.

Virtual Bookshelf instructions:

  • When viewing from a desktop, there is a drop-down menu named 'Table of Contents' at the top left of the screen

  • You can view the order of contents and categories on the drop-down Table of Contents list and, by clicking on the name of the section of interest, you can skip straight to that section, or you can just scroll down the entire list on the bookshelf web page

  • There is a search box for those searching a specific topic

  • To be taken straight to the resource that you wish to view, click the 'view online' hyperlink to the right of the title of the resource you want to view.

  • Mobile view will be different for each device

The collection for this Virtual Bookshelf is currently on Westminster Law School's website.

The entire bookshelf will be moved here, to this website and will continue to be developed here, over time.
