THE PRESIDENT OF THIS COMMITTEE COHORT WAS:
MARIA GALLAGHER
Maria Gallagher was the cofounder of University of Westminster Feminist Law Society in 2019 and served as president for two consecutive years after having been voted back into the role in the July 2020 elections.
Maria designed and produced the feminist law resources that were utilised by University of Westminster Feminist Law Society during her two-year term as president.
For example, University of Westminster Feminist Law Society hosted the Feminist Law Society Feminist Law Lecture Programme for two consecutive years. This programme of lectures was designed by Maria Gallagher. You can find out more about this lecture programme on the For Student Societies page.
Maria Gallagher is now the Director of Feminist Law Society of England and Wales and is also Director of Accessible Creations Ltd. At the time of writing, Maria is also an LPC student at the University of Law training to be a solicitor.
University of Westminster Feminist Law Society is an affiliate of Feminist Law Society of England and Wales. As an affiliate, University of Westminster Feminist Law Society's aims are always in line with Feminist Law Society's.
